If you were offered unlimited leave, would you take it?
In a recent blog post I covered the fact that more and more organisations are taking a new approach to leave and vacation time. Today, it's not unheard of to work for a business that has an 'unlimited leave' policy. Groupon and Netflix both offer this.
Despite this new approach to leave, people (particularly in the US) are not taking any more holidays than they once did. In some cases, firms that have implemented unlimited leave policies have actually seen people taking less vacations.
So my question is; would an unlimited leave policy encourage you to take more holidays or would taking more breaks cause you to worry about your reputation within your company?
