I focus on the indirect spend categories although I do get involved in other areas too. Procurement is a new concept for us here so a lot of my energy goes into managing stakeholders, communicating and marketing the procurement function. Some significant achievements have been realised and these not only generate the necessary cost savings, but work to make life easier for the service users too. I am very keen to engage with suppliers who are not only capable of delivering the requirement, but also want to help us to innovate and move forward.

I look after a range of Indirect categories including CapEx projects.
