Mubashar Shahab is currently employed as Executive Director & Head of Global Procurement with FRHI Hotels & Resorts International (Fairmont, Swissôtel and Raffles Hotels & Resorts) In his current role, he is focused on delivering procurement best practices within the organisation, find and deliver procurement synergy opportunities and implement systems and approaches to improve overall impact in the business. In the past, Shahab has worked in senior procurement, operational and marketing roles across a number of business sectors. Mubashar is passionate about procurement transformation and moving procurement teams from their "process running" past to something more dynamic and engaging. He believes that creating teams who possess the ability to give their colleagues relentless insight in the market is a key to delivering this success and a highly engaged function. He demonstrates forward-thinking abilities to define a clear vision and compelling value proposition that unites business partners, the procurement team and strategic suppliers to follow that vision.
